Brent oil falls below $70 for first time since April
Benchmark Brent crude oil fell below $70 a barrel for the first time since early April, down more than 18% since reaching four-year highs at the beginning of October. Brent fell 66 cents to a low of $69.99 a barrel before recovering slightly to trade around $70.10 by 1010 GMT, down 3.5% for the week and more than 15% this quarter. There is no slowing down the bear train, said Stephen Brennock, analyst, London brokerage PVM Oil.
