Isro's PSLV-C42 takes off successfully with two foreign satellites onboard
Indian Space Research Organisation's (Isro) work-horse, the PSLV-C42, took off successfully from Isro's spaceport at Sriharikota in Andhra Pradesh on Sunday. The rocket is carrying two foreign satellites, NovaSAR & S1-4, which will be launched into a 583-km Sun-synchronous orbit. S1-4 is a high-resolution Optical Earth Observation Satellite used for surveying resources, environment monitoring, urban management and disaster monitoring. Until now, Isro has launched 237 foreign satellites for 29 countries.
