City swimmer to take a plunge in Indianapolis pool
Teenage swimmer UM Lohith will represent India in the 6th world junior swimming championship at Indianapolis from August 21 to 29. The sixteen-year-old swimmer will take part in the 200-meter breaststroke. To win a medal at the USA meet he needs to clock 2 minutes and 20 seconds. Young Lohith began his career by enrolling in the annual summer camp at Sir Vizzi Municipal Swimming Pool at Gandhinagar in 2013.
